Welcome to GreenRivers!
Ongoing Projects:

1.We have a school compost -
vegetable scraps provided from cafeteria.

For tips on how to compost, please visit

2.  Visiting  local elementary schools to teach about recycling and composting and about the invasive beetles

3. Sent in a Green Works grant to help fund project to teach students and faculty (our school and others schools) about the invasive Asian Longhorned Beetle and the Emerals Ash Borer Beetle-- both destroying our maple and ash trees. Filmed a video that is being edited on the beetles-- both informative and humorous. See it on You Tube soon!
