For tips on how to compost, please visit

2.  Visiting  local elementary schools to teach about recycling and composting and about the invasive beetles

3. Sent in a Green Works grant to help fund project to teach students and faculty (our school and others schools) about the invasive Asian Longhorned Beetle and the Emerals Ash Borer Beetle-- both destroying our maple and ash trees. Filmed a video that is being edited on the beetles-- both informative and humorous. See it on You Tube soon!

Windspire Announcement: The windspire has arrived!

Every year we have a Green Day  (Earth Day) where we "power  down", have river clean up, make  recycled paper, and check our  carbon footprint. This year we also had the DEEP, liveanimal deonstrations, Forest and Park booth, and Glastonbury Audubon.
